About Us

We are a Florida-based travel advisor and the founder of Together & Beyond Rendezvous. We've spent years exploring romantic getaways, solo weekends, girls' trips and family vacations, plus the hidden gems around Jacksonville and across Florida, and I share those trips online because I believe a great vacation starts with real, honest recommendations.

How We Got Here

Our love of travel comes from two different journeys that eventually became one. Tonya has been traveling since childhood, thanks to family trips that sparked a lifelong love of discovering new places. As an adult, she continued exploring with family and friends and even ventured out on solo adventures.

Barry spent more than eight years serving in the U.S. Army, an experience that exposed him to different places, people, and ways of life. Together, our experiences have given us a genuine appreciation for travel, adventure, around the U.S., the Caribbean, and beyond.

We’ve also learned what can make a trip amazing and what can make one unnecessarily stressful. That’s why we want to use our experience to help others spend less time worrying about the details and more time enjoying the journey. We believe there’s a whole world waiting to be experienced, whether you’re traveling with the people you love or setting off on an adventure of your own. Now, we want to help you experience it.

How It Works

You tell us what you're dreaming of, including your dates, budget and who's coming. We compare options, build an itinerary and send you a proposal within 48 hours. Once you're ready, we book it and stay your point of contact along the way.

Suppliers pay us a commission when you book, and we charge a planning fee for fully custom trips. We'll always tell you upfront what applies to your trip." Being clear about this builds trust with new clients.

✈️ Tonya's favorite destination so far is Ao Nang, Thailand, where I celebrated my birthday with an unforgettable solo adventure.

🌎 We’ve traveled to 10 countries and explored 12 beautiful Caribbean islands—and my travel wish list keeps growing!

🚗 We’ve visited 22 U.S. states, not counting the ones we’ve simply traveled through along the way.

🚢 One of the most fascinating experiences was visiting the Panama Canal and actually traveling through its locks—an unforgettable experience!
